OFFICER POSITION
What is the commitment?
1
A proactive and engaged one. We cannot express this enough. This is not a passive engagement – it is a proactively-doing engagement. A position at Toys for Texans must be seen as one's extracurricular activity not competing with other high-level proactive engagements.
2
Review (1) again. It's important and unfortunately, one of the biggest challenges each year for members as they try to take on too much. This position requires 5 to 8 hours every week – it could require up to 10 to 12 hours during prime seasons.
3
Upon joining our team, you'll notice we regularly assign basic-level assignments and work. Although this is not to be mistaken as a simple job. Our tasks are only outlined ideas for you to build off individually. We are looking for leaders, and to stretch all followers into leaders.
